Birthday Box

Happy Barkday! We do have a special themed birthday box available for a one time purchase in our PupShop. The special edition birthday box comes with festive goodies that will help you and your furbaby celebrate your pup’s birthday paw-ty. Toys, treats and a birthday accessory are all selected based on your pup’s size.

Please note: If you are a subscriber, your pup will receive a birthday themed box for their 1st birthday!

What is PupBox?

PupBox is a monthly development box for pup parents. All PupBox subscribers will receive a monthly box that includes both training and development information as well as premium products that are tailored to your pup's life stage.

Do you offer a grain free option?

Your pup’s health is of the pup-most importance to us. Although we do not offer a grain free option, all of our PupBox treats and chews are made with high quality ingredients and are always wheat, corn and soy free. We do have treats that include oats, which is a grain, however they pack a nutritional punch and are great for your pup.

Sizing

When selecting your pup's size category, we are looking for the category that your pup will be in once they are fully grown. The items will grow with them! Here are our size categories based on target adult weight:

Return Policy

We do not offer full or partial refunds for our subscription service, and we do not accept returned items. We do understand that there are extenuating circumstances and will do our best to provide a solution to problems on a case by case basis. Do you include rawhide?

We do not include rawhide products in the box. Rawhide is often heavily treated with chemicals and difficult to digest. We do however include rawhide alternatives to help cater to the chewing needs of both puppy and adult dogs. Products such as bully sticks, ears, and bones are not made or treated in the same way as rawhide, and are often included in your monthly box. Always consult your Vet if you are concerned about a specific product or product category.

What are examples of age-relevant products and content?

Puppy: Teething chews, training essentials, cuddly plush toys

Young Pup: Tough toys for chewing, personalized interactive toys to stimulate brain development, training tips for skills

Grown Pup: Health & wellness content (e.g. info on separation anxiety), seasonally-relevant content (e.g. flea & tick prevention)

Are there training guides for all ages?

Puppy – Young Pup (newborn – 11 months): The first year of a pup’s life is filled with developmental milestones, so you’ll receive a guide for each one of the first 11 months

Young Pup (12 – 18 months): The 1 – 1.5 year old period has its own unique challenges, so these energetic and sometimes rebellious adolescent pups will get their own training content

Grown Pup: It’s never too late to train a dog, whether you have a puppy that missed the usual socialization window because of COVID, or an older rescue that is scared or even reactive around new people. We have training tips for dogs of all ages!

What are the PupBox Stages?

Puppy: Newborn – 6 months

Young Pup: 7 – 18 months

Grown Pup: Starts at 19 months

I have dogs of different ages. Will they get the same content?

If they’re in the same Stage, yes. If they’re not, no. Sometimes different Stages might share a few products or the same content if it’s content relative to all Stages (e.g. flea & tick prevention)

What products will be included in my PupBox?

Each box will include 5-7 premium products. The products included will range from toys, treats and chews that meet the highest nutritional standards, accessories, training guides. The products will rotate each month so your pup will never get bored! We pride ourselves on the quality of each product as well as the personalized nature of each box. We will only send you products that we know your pup will love.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Visit your account page to cancel your subscription. If you cancel your subscription before your subscription term is complete then you will still be charged for and receive all of the remaining boxes in your selected plan, but you will not be automatically renewed at the end of your subscription term. If you have any questions about canceling your subscription, or are having problems doing so, just email us at info@pupbox.com and we will take care of it for you.

Do you offer tough toys for pups that are heavy chewers?

We know that many pups, large and small, can be hard on their plush friends. Each PupBox is catered to your pup's changing needs, and we include tougher toys for ages and sizes that are typically tough chewers. If you find that a toy included in your PupBox doesn't meet your pup's standard then just reach out to us and let us know (info@pupbox.com). We will replace any items you don't love, and will work with you to make sure future shipments only include toys that are more suitable for your best fur-end.

A quick side note from the product team at PupBox - We encourage you to embrace your pup's destruction! Make sure to always supervise your pup's play, and take away any stray fluff, rubber, or rope that might become a choking hazard. Ripping a toy to shreds is a great way for your pup to release both mental and physical energy, and we encourage you to let your pup destroy the occasional stuffed duck, monkey or bear : )

Selecting the right toy's that engage your pup is a big part of what we do at PupBox. Holler at us, with any product feedback, and if you don't love something or you feel your pup needs tougher toys please let us know so we can make it right.

I want to skip a month of PupBox, can I do so?

We are happy to accommodate special requests such as skipping a month of deliveries. We do however encourage you to stay on a monthly shipping cycle. Each month of PupBox is carefully planned based on your pup's age and physical characteristics. The boxes grow on each other and we would hate to have you miss out on a months training content and products. We understand however that sometimes a shipping cycle of every other month is ideal, and we are happy to make that switch for you. Please email us to make the change at info@pupbox.com. We will take care of it for you, and you will receive a confirmation email confirming the change within a few days.

Pricing

We do have a few pricing options available-the more months you sign up for, the more you will save! All of our prices are listed in USD.

What kind of training and education material will you provide each month?

Each month your box will include an educational insert. The insert will act as a development guide that will walk you through the changes going on in your new puppy. For instance if your pup is 2 months old we will discuss how to prepare your home and make your new puppy feel like part of the family. Additionally each month we will provide tips and tricks to help with your training effort. All training information is based on positive reinforcement techniques. All training and development information is approved by celebrity puppy trainer Andrea Arden!

Can I add a second dog?

Our boxes are customized to match the size and developmental stage of one pup, which is why we don’t have a two-pup option. However with 5-7 items included in each box, there are more than enough for two to share! If you did want to purchase additional items, you can always visit our online PupShop.

There is also the option to create two different subscriptions, one for each pup! If you decide to do this just make sure to use two different email addresses as there can only be one subscription per email.

Coupon Restrictions

Each of our promotional codes do have different restrictions. However, the majority of the promotions that we run are only valid on first box in a multi-month subscription (3, 6 or 12 months). Promotional codes are invalid on gift subscriptions or gift card purchases.

How often will you charge my card?

We will charge your card once upfront when you sign up, and will continue to charge your card monthly until your subscription is cancelled. When your subscription term ends, we will automatically renew your subscription to the originally selected subscription term (one month will be renewed one month, three month will be renewed for three months, etc.).

Your card will be charged on or around the same day each month. If you originally sign up on November 5th, your subsequent charges will take place on or around the 5th of the month. If you wish to change your payment day, we would be happy to do so for you. Just email us at info@pupbox.com.

How can I alter my shipping information?

Visit your Account Page, and select 'Add New Address'. Please make sure the correct address is selected as the default. Address updates will take affect on your next billing cycle. If your card has already been charged for the month, and you need to update your address before your box hits the road, then please email us directly to make the change (info@pupbox.com).

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express (AMEX), and Discover. We also accept payments via PayPal and Apple Pay.

How do I update my payment information?

You can update your payment method once logged into your account. 

  1. Select "My Account" from the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner
  2. Scroll down to the credit card section and you should be able to edit your payment method from there.

International Shipping

We are working on providing international subscriptions and hope to have this option available soon. Currently we are only shipping to the US and US territories.

I haven't received my tracking notification email. How do I track my box?

You will receive a tracking email within 24 hours of your box shipping. If it has been over a week since you placed your order and you are unable to locate your tracking email, you can view your tracking information on your account page once logged in.

When will I receive my PupBox?

Your PupBox will ship out within one week of your payment processing. Shipping times vary, but you can expect your box to arrive between 5-10 business days after you receive a tracking notification.

A tracking email will be sent to you within 24hrs of your PupBox shipping. Please allow up to two business days for tracking updates to begin populating on the shipping providers website. If you are having trouble tracking your box, please don't hesitate to contact us for assistance (info@pupbox.com).

Do I have to be a PupBox member to buy products from your online store?

No, you do not need to have a PupBox subscription in order to purchase items from our PupShop! Also, shipping is free on orders subtotaling $35 or more!

How do I redeem my store credit?

You can redeem store credit for any product in our PupShop. Subscriptions, and gifts can not be redeemed for store credit. Please visit our PupShop HERE, add any product to your cart, and enter the unique code you received via email on the cart page. The credit will be applied to your cart contents.

What is PupBox by FabFitFun?

PupBox by FabFitFun is a quarterly refill subscription that contains 8-10 treats, toys, or digital offers for your pup! 

Is PupBox by FabFitFun the same as PupBox?

Not quite, PupBox by FabFitFun is available through FabFitFun, while PupBox is a monthly subscription available via https://www.pupbox.com/

How do I purchase the PupBox by FabFitFun?

If you’re an existing FabFitFun member, you can visit Fall Add-Ons or The Shop to purchase the PupBox by FabFitFun. Please note it’s only available while supplies last! 

Is the PupBox by FabFitFun available to all members?

At this time, it is only available to our US members. We hope to expand availability soon!

How much does it cost? 

The PupBox by FabFitFun will cost $59.99 USD (plus applicable taxes and shipping) each season, however, for the Fall 2024 season you can get your first PupBox by FabFitFun for just $41.99 USD (plus applicable taxes and shipping) plus $25 in Shopping Credit! Please note this offer is only available for those who select the Subscribe to Save option. 

One-time purchasers will pay the full price of $69.99 USD.

How often will I receive the PupBox by FabFitFun?

It depends on which shipping cadence you select! If you are an Annual or Seasonal member, you can ship your PupBox with your seasonal box or on a separate, 90 day cadence. If you are not an Annual or Seasonal member, your PupBox will ship on the 90 day cadence. You can learn more about these cadences here

Are your products safe for my puppy? Where are the products made?

Each puppy has individual needs and sensitive digestive systems. It is best to inquire with your personal vet about products that your puppy should or should not eat, play with, or use. PupBox does review products for safety, and has a full team of puppy product testers trying each product for quality.

We source our products from all over the wold and only work with manufacturers that are safe for your pup!

FabFitFun Acquisition

How does FabFitFun’s PupBox acquisition affect PupBox members?

The FabFitFun team has prepared a few FAQs to help you understand what this change means! If your question is not addressed below, please don’t hesitate to reach out to customercare@fabfitfun.com or info@pupbox.com for any additional questions.

What happens to my current PupBox subscription now that FabFitFun owns PupBox?

At this time, PupBox will continue to operate as a stand-alone subscription offering and the subscription you’re currently enrolled in will not change.

However, we do expect to make changes down the road as we seek to align PupBox with the FabFitFun platform and introduce some of the benefits and advantages of the FabFitFun ecosystem. The ultimate level of integration is still to be determined, but the goal will certainly be to provide a compelling and valuable experience specifically curated for pet owners!

Do I still access my PupBox account on the PupBox website or do I need to make an account with FabFitFun?

You can continue to access your PupBox account on the PupBox website for now! We’ll let you know if this changes.

If I’m a PupBox member, how do I reach out to customer service if I have an issue with my order or need to adjust my account information?

Please continue to contact info@pupbox.com for any questions or concerns regarding your PupBox orders and/or PupBox accounts for now. We’ll be sure to let you know if this changes!

Will I still receive my PupBox boxes? Is there any action I need to take to ensure my boxes continue shipping?

Your PupBox experience should not be interrupted and there are no actions needed on your end, as a PupBox member, for now. We will inform you if any additional changes are expected to take place. We’re here for you!

Will the price of my PupBox subscription change?

At this time, there is no price change going into effect. We will inform you of any pricing changes!

Will FabFitFun be sourcing treats from the same vendors that PupBox is using?

FabFitFun will be leveraging both existing suppliers and new suppliers of pet products in order to bring current and future PupBox members the best possible products for their beloved pets. We can’t wait to share more great products with you!

Why does my box look different than the picture?

Each PupBox is packed with goodies based on your pup’s age, size, and any other specific needs such as dietary restrictions. Due to this, the items in your box may differ from boxes displayed on our website, PupShop or social channels.

What if my pup has a food allergy?

Food allergies are Fur-real! We want to make sure your box only includes treats and chews that your pup can have. We have included some common food allergies in our profile process. Just check off which allergies your pup has and we will do our very best to accommodate or substitute for a suitable item. If the allergy you are looking for is not included, please contact us at info@pupbox.com to see if your request can be accommodated. 

Both the allergy selection and notes section is part of the Account overview screen in our profile process.

How do I get started?

Click the "Get Started" button on the homepage, or "Join" in the navigation bar, and you will be directed to our puppy profile. Fill out all of the necessary information about your pup and we will make sure to personalize the box based on your every need. We will bill you upfront and ship the box directly to your doorstep. Simple as that!

Adult Dogs

Don't worry, we got your adult pup covered! All adult dogs will receive 5-7 premium products hand selected by the PupBox team. They will not be age specific, but we will customize every other aspect of your box. We will even throw in a more advanced training trick or helpful tip for you and your best friend to work on.
